Tips for Foreign National & Canadian Buyers
Palm Springs has become an international destination, attracting buyers from all over the world. Although buyers recently come from multiple countries, historically, Canadians have typically represented the largest influx of foreign nationals, coming to the desert to escape their harsh winters (we affectionately refer to them as "Snowbirds!").
BMO Bank of Montreal conducted a recent survey, that said one in five Canadians is interested in buying property in the United States.
23% of international buyers in the US in 2011, were from Canada, making Canadians the largest group of foreign buyers for the past three years.
