It never rains in Southern California! Well, not true....it DOES rain, even though rarely. The Palm Springs Art Museum is always good for an enchanting experience at 101 N Museum Drive. You can also find many unique galleries featuring countless mediums in the downtown area. There are also some excellent galleries worth visiting in the Uptown Design District as well as on El Paseo in Palm Desert.

Palm Springs is among the best places in the world for shopping. You will find incredible outlets that feature both your favorite national spots as well as some local shops that are completely unique to Palm Springs.

The best theater to relax on a rainy day and watch the latest film releases, is the Mary Pickford Theatre in Cathedral City. (also called D'Place). Pick a movie in a theatre that has reclining seats where you can lean back and relax. The snack bar offers wine and bear, pizzas, sandwiches, home made ice cream, plus the usual offerings.
