Palm Springs Hospitality Association Offers Special Rates for Fire Victims
The City of Palm Springs and their hospitality partners stand in solidarity with the residents of Los Angeles County dealing with unimaginable tragedy due to devastating wildfires that have left so many without shelter. With this in mind, the City’s hospitality community is offering Palm Springs hotel rooms at special rates for those affected.“On behalf of the Palm Springs Hospitality Association, I would like to extend our desire to be a safe haven for as many evacuees as possible,” said Celeste M. Airbnb.org offers temporary housing to people impacted by Los Angeles wildfires
- Airbnb.org is providing free, temporary housing for people who have been displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires.
- The organization has partnered with 211 LA to connect people with a free place to stay.
Currently, Airbnb.org is partnering with the 211 LA who is identifying residents in need of temporary housing and helping to connect them to Airbnb.org stays. They are specifically focused on residents who have either lost their home or been forced to evacuate in the Altadena, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Santa Monica and Sylmar areas. Impacted residents can request assistance for temporary housing support from Airbnb.org by filling out this intake form with 211 LA.

Donation Drop-Offs and VolunteeringMany local schools, YMCAs, and community centers have partnered with the American Red Cross to collect donations for those affected by the wildfires. They are accepting donations including water, food items, bread, peanut butter, jam, fruits, blankets, and emergency supplies. The Koreatown and Anderson Munger YMCAs have requested volunteer help to transport goods.
